My View:

when i first saw this cream , i thought this must be a shaving cream which we use with a shaving brush, but i was wrong, i came to know that when i opened this product for a sample.This is a cream for a quick shave, it means you have to directly apply to the area needed to be shaved. As the instruction given on the pack "Apply a thin , transparent layer of cream over skin dampened with warm water.Shave normally, rinsing razor frequently.This is soothing formula performs best when used sparingly." Now you know this is a quick shaving cream,just apply on the face a thin layer , let the blade work its magic,however there are few things i don't like about this product. Its minty effects, you may remember that when you apply a balm or a mint based product to your skin and your skin gets shocked, this cream also has the same effect to it.I am not used to / dont like mint based product on my skin, so that brings a unpleasantness for this cream. However other than this this cream is excellent, it does what it says, after applying it, when i went in for my first pass, i watched the back of my razor, which had a white gel type liquid ( the Cream) , with my shaved beard hair in it. If you are in for a quick shave this is a product for you, but for people like me, i go in for the long haul, i like my shave little pleasurable.

My Rating:

i will give it only 3 out of 5 , as it has that chilly minty effect i don't like, but the 3 points are given for the quick shave which can be done using this cream.

Final verdict:

If you are in to quick shaving , go for it, it is only made for you, but if you are in for a very lengthy process of shaving " The Royal Shave" dont go for this one, avoid it.

The Royal Shave Indian Way

In india recently we started getting imported products such as boar hair shaving brushes, badger hair shaving brushes and all the associated shaving products, however there are many local products that can be used to replicate the effects of all the shaving products available abroad, and get THE ROYAL SHAVE THE INDIAN WAY. 

PRE SHAVE:

We usually take a hot shower before shaving, many of us guys keep a hot towel on their face to replicate the premium shave, what i do is i wash my face, either with my Nivea face wash or i use the famous dove soap to cleanse my skin and moistened my face and Grains.

PRE SHAVE OILS:

There are many pre shave oils available in indian market, all cost a lot , around 1500 - 2000 bugs, so i use oils available in the local grocery stores, such as bajaj almond oil or one i bought from a e retailer i.e Khadi almond oil. Usually i don't use oils but i used a cream i got from a local pharmacist which is good for skin that is the Aloederm cream which also contains linalool, i.e wool fat.The aloederm cream makes the skin blade ready.

SHAVE PREPARATIONS:

after applying the aloederm cream to my face, i get readt the things needed for my shave,i usually use a boar hair brush , which i have to soak in hot water for 5 minutes, if i am using a shave gel or shave cream then there is no preparation needed, but if i want to use a shaving soap, i have to soak it up in hot water also.

SHAVING RAZOR:

I  know there is lot of users of DE razor, but i am not a fan instead i use a mach 3 or mach 3 sensitive the green one, or the gillette fusion or the gillette fusion power , although i am not a fan of gillette fusion power, i thought i looked good in my collection or my shaving den.i usually use my mach 3 very often.

SHAVING METHODS:

After lathering my face, i use a very famous method of shaving used by literally everyone, first i shave with the grain , the i shave against the grain, so simple right ! . after two passes i check out that is there any place left to be shaved by moving my hand all over the place.

AFTER SHAVE:

After i am done shaving , i splash water of room temperature on my face, yeah thats right, later i take i take little bit of water in my palms and put few drops of after shave, or spray in case of atomiser, so as to reduce the burning effect associated with aftershaves.

EVEN AFTER, THE AFTER SHAVE:

As i have closed my open pores using alcohol based after shave, what i do is i take bit of water in my palms, squeeze some aloederm cream in my palms, rub the palm against one another , evenly apply on my face,what this does is it calms the already shocked skin which has goon through a shave and alcohol based after shave applied over it.

FINALLY:

I keep my shaving soap, and shaving brush in ventilated place to dry, clean the sink, clean my shaving equipment and just relax myself and chill out listening some soothing music.

My View:

This is my third , omega shaving brush.First was 10075, which is my favourite, other is 80005 wooden handle shaving brush,which is also great shaving brush, and this is my third one, the professional 48 from omega, what i like about this brush is its enormous size, you may be a man of small stature or a giant like NBA players, this brush is good for all however the handle or the base of this shaving brush is enormous, i must add it does not fit my palms,however it is a delight to shave with.It holds water more that any boar hair brush i have seen and i have seen only two of omega 's wonderful creations.The big Chromed handle comes handy while shaving its big loft is also wonderful as it covers an enormous amount of the face while shaving,for all those people who find difficult lathering a particular shaving soap this is a product for you.I am just astonished with its enormous size , it is a dream come tru for ever wet shaver.It covers the face liberally with the lather, it is very good in holding water, which is true with ever boar shaving brush, it may stink little bit in the starting but after break in, it will really astonish you with its water absorption and its fragrance retaining quality, i.e. you can tell just tell by smelling the brush, as it retains the smell of the soap previously used, in my case it smells like Kent Shaving soap or rebranded Mitchell's wool fat shaving soap which is very good. 

My Rating:

5 out of 5 just for its enormous size, its huge loft and its water retaining quality.

If you want to buy a wonderful , professional, a quality , and a enormous shaving brush , shut up and go for this one you wont regret this.
